This hands-on course is the first in a directing series where you complete four short films using your own video camera. Instruction focuses on the basic building blocks of narrative filmmaking:

- Montage Assignments explore aspects of visual expression through the use of composition, rhythm, and point-of-view; moving from black and white/silent compositions to the use of color; non-sync sound and editing.
