Program Overview

This course explores the historical and cultural significance of color in art, examining how artists have used color to convey emotions, symbolism, and socio-political messages. Through the analysis of paintings throughout history, students will gain an understanding of the intention and stories behind the artworks, as well as the materials and processes used to create colors. The course will be recorded for student access throughout its duration.
