Program Overview

This intensive medical microbiology course offers an in-depth exploration of modern microbiology, covering topics from microbial cell structure to host-pathogen interactions. Taught through lectures and discussions, the program closely resembles graduate-school instruction and is designed to prepare students for careers in healthcare, including nursing and graduate school. The course is led by Payam Benyamini and is offered both in-person and remotely.
