Program Overview

This in-person program, taught by Richard Hatem, analyzes successful TV pilot episodes to identify the key elements that distinguish them from unsuccessful ones. Participants will learn about structural components, the relationship between "weekly franchise" and "series mythology," and developing long-term character arcs. The course is designed for those interested in careers in television writing and production.
