Program Overview
The Foundation Studies program is a bridging course for international students who wish to pursue undergraduate studies at the University of Tasmania. It offers two options: a fast-track program with 4 units over one semester and a standard program with 8 units over two semesters. The program includes core units in English and Foundation Mathematics, as well as elective units in various subjects. Successful completion of the program allows graduates to enter an undergraduate degree course at the University of Tasmania.

Degree Overview:
This program is a direct academic pathway to first-year undergraduate degree study or equivalent. It acts as a bridging course for international students who wish to study a university undergraduate degree course but don't yet meet academic requirements and/or have the English language skills for tertiary study.
Objectives:
- To successfully complete the program, students must achieve a 50% pass in all units, including English.
- Successful completion means graduates can enter one of the University of Tasmania’s undergraduate degree courses.
