The Graduate Diploma of Technology and Innovation (GradDipTechInnov) is designed for high-achieving ICT graduates with a passion for coding. Upon completion, students will have an authentic and tested understanding of innovative product and service design, with a go-to-market focus. They will also understand the complexities of different business contexts and thrive in them.

Program Description:
The course includes a large project-based component where students work with the local tech industry in the design and pitch of an ICT product. This hands-on experience provides practical insights into the development, pitching, and perception of products by stakeholders and relevant markets.

The GradDipTechInnov comprises 4 core units and 3 project units, totaling 100 credit points.

- BAA513 Innovation and Enterprise: Explores entrepreneurship, opportunity identification, creativity, and innovation.
- KIT614 Mobile Dev for Market: Extends students' understanding of mobile application development, focusing on one mobile platform.
- KIT615 Interactive Web Praxis: Enriches students' technical web programming and development skills, emphasizing data management techniques and web platform performance.
- KIT617 Design Production: Explores the relationship between design and industry, developing skills in planning, developing, and producing products and services for target markets.

- KIT616 Stakeholder Project: Provides an opportunity to apply skills to an Indigenous-based problem, fostering empathy and collaboration.

Entry Requirements:
Bachelor Degree preferably in IT or cognate discipline and Successful completion of the programming ability test. Entry to the course is competitive. Applicants will be ranked on a combination of their programming ability test result along with their undergraduate degree results.
