Program Overview

The five-year Medical Radiation Science program at the University of Tasmania and Charles Sturt University prepares students for careers in diagnostic radiography, nuclear medicine, or radiation therapy. The program includes foundational studies in the first two years, followed by specialized training and clinical placements in years three and four. Graduates are eligible for registration with the AHPRA Medical Radiation Science Practice Board and have opportunities in healthcare settings, research, and higher education.
