Program Overview

The Women's and Gender Studies program at the University of Manitoba is an interdisciplinary program that explores social justice, political, and cultural issues related to women's experiences, gender relations, race, class, and oppression. Graduates of the program have found careers in fields such as social justice outreach, community health, publishing, and communications, and some have pursued further studies in areas such as social work, health care, and law.
