Program Overview

The University of Manitoba's Master of City Planning (MCP) program is a two-year, studio-based program that emphasizes hands-on learning. Students collaborate with real-world clients to address planning challenges, developing skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication. The program offers two streams: a Capstone Project or a Thesis/Practicum, preparing graduates for careers in city planning and related fields.
