Program Overview

The Graduate Focus in Disability Studies at the University of Manitoba allows graduate students to supplement their Master's or Doctoral program with coursework in disability studies. Students must complete 6 or 9 credit hours, including courses on the history of disability, disability studies, and research methods. This focus provides students with an understanding of disability issues and prepares them for careers in fields related to disability.
