Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:

  • a four-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the last two full years of study.
  • a three-year bachelor's degree, plus the successful completion of the Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Medical Physiology and Pathophysiology with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the last two full years of study.
  • In addition to the minimum course requirements of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, found in the Graduate Studies Regulations Section, students must complete:
  • a minimum of 9 credit hours or 1.5 full-credit equivalents in 7000-level courses in any suitable discipline, including four 1.5 credit hour courses in respiratory-, cardiovascular-, endocrine, and neuro-physiology and related pathophysiology, as well as a required 3 credit hour course in biomedical trainee skills.
  • These courses are modular and allow completion within three terms regardless of term of entry. Students must obtain a minimum B grade in these courses.
