Program Overview

COMM 2006: Critical Media Studies is a 3-credit course that examines the normative constructs of contemporary media landscapes. Through analysis and discussion, students develop tools to critique media structures, identify their ideological bases, and envision more inclusive ways of mediating information. This course prepares students to navigate and shape the evolving communications of tomorrow.
