Program Overview

The Indigenous Ways of Knowing and Being program offers a 3-credit course (INST 1003) that explores Indigenous perspectives and protocols. Through lectures and discussions held in a ceremonial space, students gain a foundational understanding of culturally appropriate approaches to seeking guidance, respecting boundaries, and giving thanks. The program aims to foster active listening, personal reflection, and group discussions.
