This course, XHLT 1006, expands on the Medical Terminology foundation provided by XHLT 1005. It covers approved abbreviations, body systems, and cavities. Students who complete XHLT 1006, along with XHLT 1005 and XHLT 1007, may qualify for PLAR credit towards HLTH 1003 (Medical Terminology). This course is suitable for students who have taken XHLT 1005 or those entering the healthcare field seeking a stronger foundation.
