Program Description

The DSMM provides a vibrant and productive research environment, combining laboratory-based research with lecture and practical courses, seminars, national and international conferences, and access to modern technological platforms. The program focuses on the biophysical, biochemical, and physiological aspects of cellular signaling pathways of excitable and non-excitable cells. Students can choose from three doctoral programs:

  • "Molecular and cell biology of cellular signaling"
  • "Membrane physical questions and methods"
  • "Physiology and neurobiology"

Research Areas

The DSMM offers a variety of projects within the three doctoral programs, providing students with numerous opportunities to gain insight into clinical and translational aspects of disease.
