Students learn the interpretation of technical drawings and layout of metal components. Students also acquire the skills necessary for the assembly of a finished product. This includes learning how to cut, burn, saw, shear, punch, drill, and shape metal components.
Practical projects are performed in a shop environment to develop the necessary habits concerning safety, time management, machinery and materials.
