Project Management Ontario College Graduate Certificate program

Program description

The complexity of industry’s labour and entrepreneurial needs requires managers who can work with in a variety of settings and in cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams. This program fills that need by providing project management training to candidates who require project management skills to ensure new ventures have potential for successful delivery. The program covers technical, leadership, business, and strategic management subjects with an emphasis on understanding and managing change as applied to project management.

Admission requirements

  • Ontario College Diploma, Ontario College Advanced Diploma, degree or equivalent
  • Applicants who do not possess the above academic requirement may be considered upon submission of a resume and reference letters which demonstrate relevant work experience.

  • Students may be required to purchase or to install computer hardware or software outside of standard program tuition/ancillary fees. These requirements will be provided as part of the course specific documentation upon enrollment.
  • Based on the program of study and semester organization, students who have successfully completed semester 1, may wish to write the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification Examination.
  • Based on the program of study and semester organization, students who have successfully completed semester 2, may wish to write the Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Examination.
  • CAPM and PMP are registered marks of the Project Management Institute, Inc.
