Mobile Application Development Ontario College Graduate Certificate program

Prepare yourself for an exciting career as a team player or an independent entrepreneur in the mobile application development industry. Within the Mobile Application Development program, you will have the opportunity to collaborate as part of a high-functioning team on a mobile application project with real-world specifications and requirements. By implementing popular project management frameworks to manage project responsibilities, you will give yourself a competitive advantage and be prepared for a smooth transition to the workplace. You’ll have the opportunity to develop and implement the newest emerging technologies and the latest in mobile technology innovation into your mobile solutions. With a focus on entrepreneurship throughout the program, you will learn how to be an entrepreneur, publish an application to an online store, and manage marketing and financials to gain revenue. Admission requirements
- Ontario College Diploma, Ontario College Advanced Diploma, degree or equivalent with a focus on computer studies or equivalent work experience in software development.
Selection Process
Applicants may be asked to submit a current resume and a letter of interest to the Program Coordinator in order to assess their prior academic and experiential learning.
Additional information
To be successful in this program you are required to provide your own Apple Mac notebook computer prior to the start of the program. Your computer should have at least 8GB of memory, 256GB of disk space, and capable of running OSX version 10.13 (High Sierra) or better.

To graduate from this program, a student must attain a minimum of 60% or a letter grade of P (Pass) or S (Satisfactory) in each course in each semester. The passing weighted average for promotion through each semester and to graduate is 60%.
