Program Overview
The Bachelor of Business (Business Analytics) degree is designed to prepare students for the challenges they will face as business leaders in today's rapidly changing environment. The program is taught through a combination of lectures and hands-on exercises in the Data Analytics Lab, using state-of-the-art data science and analytics software.
Program Structure
To qualify for the Bachelor of Business (Business Analytics), a candidate shall accrue an aggregate of at least 144 credit points, which includes first-year foundation subjects, major subjects, integrative business capstone, and general electives.

Program Outcomes
- Prestigious and Accredited Degree: Upon completion, students will receive a Bachelor's degree from the University of Wollongong Australia, accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the UAE Ministry of Education and licensed by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).
- Professional Certification: Students can obtain Professional Certification from IBM after completing a number of courses in the program.
- Career-Ready Skills: The program equips students with practical, hands-on, and job-ready skills in business analysis, enabling them to be productive from day one in their job role.
- Masters Study Opportunities: UOWD offers several Master's degree programs under the Faculty of Business for further study.
Accreditation and Recognition
All programs at the University of Wollongong in Dubai are accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) of the UAE Ministry of Education and are licensed by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA). The business programs are also accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
Faculty
The faculty includes experienced professionals and academics, such as Dr. Prithvi Bhattacharya, Assistant Professor and Discipline Leader (Management Science), and others with expertise in various fields of business and analytics.
Admission Requirements
Admission requirements depend on the type of high school curriculum followed. Students who have excelled academically at school and meet the advance entry requirements can finish their bachelor's degree in three years instead of four. English language proficiency is also required, with options including IELTS, TOEFL, and Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic.
Tuition Fees
The yearly fees for the program are AED 60,429 / USD 16,466, inclusive of VAT 5%. Fees will vary depending on the number of subjects enrolled in.
Duration
The program can be completed in either 3 years (24 subjects) or 4 years (32 subjects), including an integrated freshman year for those who require it.
Classes Commencement
Classes commence in September (Autumn), January (Winter), and April (Spring).
