Program Overview
Biosystems Engineering (BSEN) Program
The Biosystems Engineering (BSEN) program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in the principles and practices of biosystems engineering. The program is structured to meet the needs of students who wish to pursue a career in this field.
Program Requirements
The BSEN program requires a total of 126 hours of coursework, which includes:
- Freshman year:

- Sophomore year:

University Core Curriculum Requirements
The AU Bulletin lists the University Core Curriculum requirements for students in the College of Engineering. Students must complete a sequence in either Literature or History. Biosystems Engineering students should complete the World History or Technology and Civilization Course sequence to ensure that all Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) are met by the time of graduation.
