Program Overview

The Renaissance and Early Modern Studies (MA) program at the University of York is a one-year full-time or two-year part-time interdisciplinary program that explores the Renaissance and Early Modern period through the lenses of English, History, History of Art, Archaeology, Philosophy, and Politics. Students develop critical thinking, research, and archival skills, and can choose from a range of optional modules to tailor their studies. The program prepares graduates for careers in museum curatorship, university teaching, journalism, heritage management, and other fields.
