Program Overview

The MA Archaeology (by research) at the University of York offers students the opportunity to pursue an independent research project in their chosen area of archaeological interest. The program emphasizes academic independence, personalized research guidance, and advanced knowledge acquisition. Students will develop expertise in diverse research methods and produce a dissertation of up to 30,000 words.
