Program Overview

The Advanced Safeguarding Adults Program at the University of Sunderland equips qualified social workers and safeguarding professionals with advanced knowledge and skills in adult safeguarding. Delivered part-time over four months, the program covers legislation, theories, and current research, enabling students to enhance their professional capabilities and effectively share and evaluate their practice. Led by experts in the field, the program emphasizes personal and professional development, providing opportunities for additional readings and discussions.
