The program delves into key areas such as NFTs, Web 3.0 architecture, digital assets, Extended Reality, monetization strategies, virtual world architectures, and social, legal, and ethical issues within the Metaverse landscape. Students have the flexibility to choose elective courses that align with their specific interests and career goals. These electives delve into advanced topics such as virtual economies, tokenomics, data science for the Metaverse, emerging Metaverse trends, virtual and augmented reality development, game programming, smart contract programming, blockchain systems and architectures, and interactive design. By mastering theoretical principles, state-of-the-art research, and relevant case studies, graduates will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to become highly skilled developers, consultants, entrepreneurs, or financial professionals within the Metaverse field.   • The Thesis or Practicum must be related to the chosen specialization area to qualify for the concentration.

Assessment:

  • Course assessment typically includes a final exam and continuous assessment throughout the semester.
  • Continuous assessment may comprise weekly interactive activities, projects, online forum participation, and other relevant activities.
  • Letter grades are calculated based on the weightage of the final exam and continuous assessment components.
