Program Overview

The Clinical Lab Sciences program at Richard Bland College is a two-year Associate of Science degree that prepares students for entry-level positions in clinical laboratories. The program covers a range of laboratory tests, including hematology, microbiology, chemistry, immunology, and blood banking. Graduates are eligible to take the national certification exam to become certified Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT).
