Program Overview

The Bachelor of Applied Data Science and Business Analytics program at ISM equips students with a comprehensive understanding of computer science, data science, and business administration. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, graduates are prepared for careers in data science, big data, and computer science, with potential job titles including data scientist, data analyst, and machine learning engineer. The program features a strong international focus, with integrated semesters abroad and a diverse student body from over 84 nationalities.

• Learn about computer science and digital transformation.
• Gain knowledge in programming tools, analytics, business intelligence and artificial intelligence.
• Understand a wide range of topics in data science.
• Combine the basics of business administration with current trends and challenges of big data.

Semester Structure:

• 6 semesters (7 semesters with Global Track)
• Semester start: September (fall term) and March (spring term)
• Two integrated semesters abroad: one compulsory, one optional
• 20 weeks compulsory internships, workshops, and excursions
• Language: 100% English
• Additional languages: German is compulsory for international students, French, Italian or Spanish is compulsory for German-speaking students
