Program Overview

The Gaeilge and French or German or Spanish program at Dublin City University prepares students to become qualified post-primary teachers of Gaeilge and one of the modern languages: French, German, or Spanish. The program emphasizes language abilities, pedagogical skills, and professional development, equipping graduates for careers in teaching and other fields. Graduates receive a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree and are eligible for registration as Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT) with the Teaching Council of Ireland.
