Program Overview


This 12-week online Diploma in User Experience & Design equips learners with the knowledge and skills to design and evaluate interactive systems. It covers key areas such as UX design approaches, user research, prototyping, and usability evaluation. The program is delivered part-time, with one evening session per week, and is not on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ).

Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:


EU Home Students:

  • Leaving Certificate with a minimum of 5 O6/H7s, including English or Irish.
  • Mature students (23+ years old) may be considered on the basis of relevant work experience.
  • Applicants with other qualifications, such as a QQI Level 5 award, may also be considered on a case-by-case basis.

International Overseas Students (outside the EU):

  • A recognized high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or TOEFL score of 80.
  • Some exceptions may apply for students from specific countries or with specific qualifications.

Language Proficiency Requirements:


English Language Proficiency:

  • All applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 80.
