Program Overview

Dean College's Early Childhood Education program prepares students for careers in childcare and education for young children. The program emphasizes hands-on experience through an on-campus lab school and student teaching, and focuses on developmental stages, teaching methodologies, and partnering with families. Graduates are eligible for certification in Massachusetts and can pursue careers as preschool teachers, childcare assistant directors, and other early childhood education-related fields.
