Entry Requirements:


EU Home Students:

  • Relevant Degree:
  • Applicants must have a H2.2 Undergraduate Honours degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Computing, Computer applications, or a related discipline.
  • For Law stream applicants, a H2.1 Undergraduate Honours degree or equivalent qualification in law or another degree with significant law content is required.
  • Candidates with significant experience in the relevant sectors (software development for Computing; legal/policy for Law) combined with an Honours degree in another discipline may be considered based on DCU's Recognition of Prior Learning Policy.
  • Language Proficiency:
  • All applicants must demonstrate competency in English, as per DCU's English language requirements (further information available at http://www.dcu.ie/registry/english.shtml).
  • Non-native English speakers may fulfill this requirement by:
  • Being a native English speaker.
  • Completing a degree through the medium of English and uploading a study certificate verifying this.
  • Submitting a language certificate obtained within two years prior to program commencement (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL).
  • Applicants for the Law stream wishing to specialize in Data Governance at Avignon Université (Track A) who are non-native French speakers:
  • Must possess at least a level C1 CEFR French language proficiency certificate or equivalent experience (e.g., previous French-taught degree).
  • Applicants for the Law stream wishing to specialize in Cybersecurity at Universidad de León (Track B) who are non-native Spanish speakers:

  • Meet all EU Home Student requirements above.
  • Language Proficiency:
