Program Overview

The Mechanical Technician - Precision Skills Diploma Program at Georgian College is a two-year program that equips students with the skills and knowledge for a career in advanced manufacturing. The program focuses on operating CNC machine tools, creating components, and performing troubleshooting and repairs. Graduates are prepared for roles such as CNC Programmer, Tool and Die Maker, and Millwright in industries like aerospace, energy, and automotive. The program includes a four-month co-op work term and is accredited by CEWIL Canada.
