Program Overview

The Pre-service Firefighter Education and Training program at Georgian College equips students with the knowledge and skills to become effective firefighters. Through a blend of theoretical instruction and hands-on experience, graduates develop expertise in fire suppression, rescue operations, hazardous materials response, public education, and life safety. The program prepares students to meet the rigorous standards of the fire service and provides them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen career path.
