Program Overview

The Medical Transcription – Health Records program at Georgian College equips students with the knowledge and skills to excel as medical transcriptionists. Through a blended learning approach, students gain a comprehensive understanding of medical terminology, transcription techniques, and medical ethics. The program prepares graduates for entry-level positions in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare settings, with the potential to pursue careers in medical coding, health information management, or medical administration.
