Program Overview

The Personal Support Worker (PSW) Program at Georgian College is a one-year program that prepares students to provide compassionate care to individuals in various healthcare settings. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge, practical labs, and clinical placements, students develop the skills and knowledge to assist with daily living, personal care, and work effectively in a healthcare team. Graduates are well-prepared for employment as PSWs in retirement homes, long-term care, home care, and other healthcare settings.
