Outline

The program follows a vertically integrated structure with four major strands: design, technology, context, and practice & management. These strands intertwine throughout the years to develop your technical, design, and contextual skills, alongside an increasing integration between all areas.


Year 1:

  • Common first year with other related programs to broaden your knowledge and exposure.
  • Modules cover fundamental skills and concepts in materials, technology, design, communication, research, sustainability, law, project management, cost management, building services engineering, building surveying, real estate management, and more.

Year 2:

  • Continues development of foundational skills and knowledge.
  • Modules delve deeper into technical aspects of construction, law, adaptation design, sustainable practice, and historical context.

Sandwich Year (Optional):

UK Students:

  • A-Level: ABB
  • BTEC: DDM in Design or Construction subject.
  • IB Diploma: 30 points
  • GCSE Requirement: Minimum five graded 9-4 including English and Maths
  • Access to HE: Considered on an individual basis

EU Students:

  • Same requirements as UK students with an EU support bursary of £19,850 per year.
  • Without the bursary, the tuition fee is £19,850 per year.

International Students:

  • £19,850 per year

Additional Notes:

  • Unconditional offers can be made based on performance during the interview stage of application for exceptional candidates.
  • The Fair Access Scheme is available for students who meet the eligibility criteria.
