Program Overview

The Educational Specialist (EdS) in Instructional Leadership and School Administration program prepares educators with a master's degree for principal certification. It emphasizes best practices, research-based curriculum, and practical field experience to equip graduates with the knowledge and skills to lead positive changes in schools and ensure student success. The program includes a "Reflective Learner" theme and performance-based evaluation through coursework and leadership field experiences. Graduates are eligible for Level I and Level II principal certification, enabling them to serve as principals or assistant principals in grades P-12.
