Entry Requirements:


EU Home Students:

  • A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 in the master's program.
  • Three letters of recommendation from individuals familiar with the applicant's academic and research abilities.
  • An essay (1000 words maximum) that addresses the applicant's:
  • Substantive areas of research interest
  • Educational background and professional experience relevant to the intended specialization
  • Career plans and how obtaining a PhD supports those goals
  • If available, a document that demonstrates the applicant's academic or scholarly writing
  • Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended
  • A final transcript stating bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution
  • A final transcript stating master's degree from an accredited institution
  • An up-to-date curriculum vitae (CV)

International Overseas Students (Outside the EU):

  • The entry requirements for international students are the same as for EU home students, with the additional requirement of demonstrating English language proficiency.
