Program Overview

Adelphi University's Translation Studies Certificate equips students with the skills and knowledge to become successful translators. The 15-credit program covers practical techniques, theory, cross-cultural communication, grammar, and composition. Students gain hands-on experience through an internship and are prepared for careers in freelance, staff, government, medical, and legal translation.
