EU Home Students:
- Leaving Certificate with a minimum of 6 subjects at D3 grade or higher, including English or Irish.
- Two Subjects at Higher Level to include one from the following: Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Technology, Agricultural Science, Biology, Business, Economics, Geography, Construction Studies, or Engineering.
- Subjects from Group 5 (e.g., Art, Music, Home Economics) cannot be used to meet the specific subject requirements.
International Overseas Students (outside the EU):
- A secondary school qualification equivalent to the Irish Leaving Certificate, with a minimum of 6 subjects at grade C or higher, including English or Irish.
- Two Subjects at Higher Level to include one from the following: Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Technology, Agricultural Science, Biology, Business, Economics, Geography, Construction Studies, or Engineering.
- Students whose first language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency through one of the following exams:
- IELTS: Overall score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
- TOEFL: Score of 80 with a minimum of 20 in each component.
- PTE Academic: Score of 54 with a minimum of 50 in each component.
- Applicants with relevant work experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Mature students (over 23 years old) may be eligible for entry through an alternative admissions process.
- All applicants must submit a personal statement and references.
