Program Overview

The Certificate in the Study of Societies in Transition focuses on the history, culture, and contemporary issues of Indigenous peoples in Canada. It explores the concepts of reciprocity, relationship, and reconciliation in the context of Indigenous-settler relations. The program consists of three core courses and nine elective credits, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of Indigenous perspectives and preparing them for careers in various fields.
