Program Overview

The A Greener Future Assessor Training is a two-week online course that equips participants with the skills and knowledge to assess the environmental impact of events and festivals. Upon successful completion, participants will be qualified to conduct environmental assessments on behalf of A Greener Future, a globally recognized certification body for sustainable events. The program covers a wide range of topics, including environmental legislation and regulation, local direct impacts on the environment and communities, event procurement and sustainability, travel and transportation management, power consumption and efficiency, solid waste management and recycling, water use, wastewater, and sewage treatment, and communication and behavior strategies for environmental impact reduction.
