EU Home Students:
- A completed UCAS application form with a personal statement outlining your reasons for wanting to study Painting and your relevant experience.
- Two references, one of which should be academic and the other professional or personal.
- An appropriate portfolio showcasing your creative practice and demonstrating your skills in color, form, and composition.
- Applicants are encouraged to demonstrate an awareness of contemporary and historical painting practices, including their social and cultural contexts.
- Depending on your educational background, you may also require A Level Art and Design with a minimum grade B, or a foundation degree/diploma in Art and Design, or an equivalent qualification.
- International Baccalaureate applicants should achieve a minimum score of 32 points overall with 16 points in Higher Level Art.
- Mature students without formal qualifications who can demonstrate relevant experience and commitment will be considered on an individual basis.
International Overseas Students (outside the EU):
- All the requirements for EU Home Students apply, in addition to:
- English language proficiency as demonstrated by achieving at least an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with no individual band below 5.5, or an equivalent qualification.
