Program Overview

The Foundation Year in Art & Design is a preparatory program for international students seeking to pursue art and design studies in Italy. It provides a foundation in art, design, and architecture, enhances Italian language proficiency, and prepares students for the academic requirements of Italian undergraduate programs. The program offers two options, a 9-month fall semester and a 6-month spring semester, and includes hands-on learning experiences, portfolio development, and access to Syracuse Academy's language and culture program.
