Program Overview

Barton College's Birth-Kindergarten Education program prepares students for licensure as B-K teachers in North Carolina. The program combines coursework, field experiences, and student teaching, and is taught by experienced faculty with support from public school partners. Graduates are eligible for licensure and can pursue careers as B-K teachers, early childhood education specialists, or other related fields.
