  • Entrepreneurship I: Focuses on exploring learners' entre/intrapreneurial aspirations and abilities by examining entrepreneurial theory, research, and processes.
  • It introduces the learner to various variables that need consideration when exploring possibilities as an owner/manager of a business or as an employee within a company.
  • Project Management - Tools and Techniques: Provides learners with a comprehensive understanding of the role and various tasks of a project manager within the building industry.
  • It also focuses on developing learners' awareness of the skills and competencies required within the project team. This module equips learners with leadership and direction skills necessary for project management, enabling them to fully appreciate the challenges organizations face in the dynamic and changing built environments.
  • Planning and Building Control: Provides learners with an overview of the legal and statutory requirements relevant to the built environment.
  • The module focuses on Irish law as the primary context, but also highlights and discusses various aspects of European law relevant to the sector. Course Schedule:

  • This part-time program runs two evenings per week, Tuesday and Thursday, from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm.
