Program Overview
Certificate in Industrial Instrumentation Calibration
Overview
Become industry relevant, advance your career and upskill/reskill in Industrial Instrumentation Calibration.
ESS has partnered with Griffith College to provide accredited higher education qualifications to support Ireland's manufacturing and maintenance sector. This programme develops the learner’s knowledge of current industrial engineering practices and enables them to confidently review and analyse emerging industrial instrument systems and calibrations of these systems.
This CIIC supports learners in gaining a basic knowledge of current instrumentation practices and procedures. Learners recognise the safety standards of working with instrument systems and demonstrate how to use calibration test equipment correctly.
This programme is delivered in partnership with ESS.
Why study for the Certificate in Industrial Instrumentation Calibration at Griffith College?
- The programme is available part-time and teaches the in-demand skill of calibrating process control instruments.
- Learners are introduced to industrial instrumentation calibration knowledge and skills to support their work in the industry or enhance employment opportunities.
- The Certificate in Industrial Instrumentation Calibration programme is designed to equip those working in industry and services with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to check, verify and calibrate process control instruments and the associated calibration techniques and analysis.
- The practical nature of the coursework lends to preparation for work in industry.
- Learners are provided access to academic resources and personal support through ESS’s partnership with Griffith College.
- This programme may also facilitate learners applying for progression to third-level programmes in NFQ Level 6 (plus) engineering programmes within third-level colleges.
