Entry Requirements:
English Proficiency Requirements:
- Academic IELTS: Overall score of 6.5 with no band below 6.
- TOEFL Paper-Based: Minimum score of 550 with a minimum TWE score of 5.
- TOEFL Internet-Based: Minimum score of 80 with at least 20 in each category.
- PTE (Pearson Test in English): Minimum score of 58 for all faculties.
- English Proficiency Placement (UPEI Cairo Campus): Score above 4.5 to exempt from English Preparatory Courses (EAP).
Main Faculty Requirements:
- Faculty of Business Administration: Requires Grade 12 Math, English, and any 2 subjects from Social Studies, Languages, or Sciences, plus 1 additional academic course. A minimum overall average of 70% is required for direct entry.
- Note: Students who do not meet the required scores may be eligible for the Gateway Program or Unclassified Student status, which provides a pathway to university admission.
Requirements Per High School Curriculum:

- 5 academic courses, including English and Math, primarily from Grade 12.
- SAT, ACT, and EST scores are not required but may be used for reference.
- Only 1 course from Grade 11 may be used for admission.
- IGCSE:
- 5 ‘O’ levels with a minimum grade of “C” in Math.
- Minimum average of 70% for direct entry.
- Admission from Grade 11 is possible for exceptional students with at least 85% in Grades 10 and 11, along with school recommendations and parental permission.
- International Baccalaureate (IB):
- IB diploma with at least 3 Higher Level (HL) courses.
- Minimum overall score of 24 for direct entry, with a grade of at least 4 in required courses.
- IB Score of 22-23 may be accepted for the Gateway Program.

- Thanaweya Amma:
- 5 academic courses from the final year, including English and Math.
