Entry Requirements

Entry Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent: Students must have completed a high school diploma or equivalent, such as a General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
• Minimum GPA: A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 is required for admission.
• Required Courses: Applicants must have completed the following high school courses:
• Four units of English
• Three units of mathematics, including algebra and geometry
• Three units of science, including biology and chemistry
• Two units of a foreign language
• Standardized Test Scores: Applicants are required to submit scores from either the ACT or the SAT.
• Additional Requirements for International Students: International students must also demonstrate English language proficiency by submitting scores from an approved test, such as the TOEFL or IELTS.

Language Proficiency Requirements:

• English Language Proficiency: International students whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency by submitting scores from an approved test, such as the:
• TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): Minimum score of 80
• IELTS (International English Language Testing System): Minimum score of 6.5
• PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English Academic): Minimum score of 53
• Exemptions: Students may be exempt from the English language proficiency requirement if they meet one of the following criteria:
• They have completed a degree from an accredited institution in a country where English is the official language of instruction.
The language proficiency requirements ensure that international students have the necessary language skills to participate effectively in the program.
