- Applications of AI and Machine Learning: This module equips students with an understanding and practical experience of a range of cutting-edge AI and machine learning techniques applied to authentic problems and datasets. It covers algorithms, data structures, data storage and manipulation, and user interfaces, and introduces object-oriented programming.
- User Interaction Design: This module provides a comprehensive knowledge of user interaction design and related techniques.
- Software Engineering with Group Project: This module prepares students for the experience of working as part of a development team. Students will combine this experience with overcoming the practical difficulties of working with real-world clients to produce applications which will be applied by those clients.
- Web Technologies and Security: This module teaches students how to build commercially viable and richly interactive internet or web applications with particular emphasis on mobile web applications.
- Research and Consultancy Skills: This module enhances students' skills and knowledge in areas such as communication and problem solving skills, ethical, legal, and social issues, modern group working techniques specific to computing, design and management of research and consultancy activities, and selecting suitable formats and styles of presentation.
- MSc Project Literature Review and Problem Formulation: This module enables students to survey and evaluate a research or business problem within the discipline for exploration within the MSc Project.
- Some modules will be assessed through coursework, while others will be assessed through exams or a combination of coursework and exams.

Home students (EU):
- A 2:2 undergraduate degree or a UK master’s degree (or international equivalent).
- A third-class honors degree or an ordinary degree (without honors) or UK equivalent professional qualification with a minimum of two years’ appropriate work experience.

- Cambridge English exams with a minimum score of overall 169 and at least 162 in all components.
- Duolingo English Test with an overall score of 95+ and at least 85 in each individual subcomponent is accepted as an alternative.
- A degree qualification fully taught and completed in English within two years prior to application may also satisfy this requirement.
