Paramedic Science Integrated Master's (MSci)

Overview

The Paramedic Science Integrated Master's (MSci) course at Keele University is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to become a resilient and caring paramedic. The course combines a bachelor's degree with a fourth year of study at master's level, providing students with advanced clinical skills, leadership qualities, and robust evidence-based practice.

Course Summary

The course focuses on developing students' lifesaving skills and clinical interventions in a range of locations. 50% of the time will be spent undertaking placements within the ambulance service and other settings, to develop professional paramedic practice.

Entry Requirements

  • A Level: ABB in three A Levels including B in one Science subject from the Keele Defined Sciences List
  • BTEC: DDM in any of the following BTEC Extended Diplomas / National Extended Diplomas: Applied Science, or Health and Social Care
  • T Level: Distinction in any of the following T Levels: Health, Healthcare Science, Science
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma: 655 in three Higher Levels including 5 in one Science subject from the Keele Defined Sciences List at Higher Level

Tuition Fees

  • UK: £9,535 for the 2025/6 academic year (subject to Parliamentary approval)
  • International: Band 5, £24,900 for the 2025/26 academic year
